The Ingredients that Affect Us

One of the main culprits of unhealthy foods is sugar. Foods that are high in sugar, such as candy and soda, can lead to a spike in blood sugar levels that is followed shortly after by a 'crash'. This crash can leave you feeling lethargic and unfocused, making it much more difficult to complete tasks or concentrate on work. Another reason sugar isn't our friend is because its not so great for your teeth. Additionally, sticky sugary foods can adhere to your teeth and promote tooth decay. Overall, limiting your sugar intake and practicing good oral hygiene, such as brushing and flossing regularly, can help you maintain healthy teeth and gums. Sugar also blocks the absorption of vitamin C which we know we need for a healthy immune system.
